Biography

Het jonge, vierkoppige 30,000 Monkies brengt sinds 2008 zware riff-georriënteerde rockmuziek geïnspireerd door onder andere Kyuss en Melvins maar evengoed door groepen als Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine en Lightning Bolt. Noem het geluid dat ze voortbrengen stoner, noise of shoegaze of noem het gewoon lawaai. 30,000 Monkies staat garant voor een storm van geluid doorspekt met nonsensicale teksten. Een ware smurrie van frequenties, maar dan op een beredeneerde manier gebracht. Live blazen ze elke toeschouwer omver met een combinatie van harde riffs en uitgesponnen noiselandschappen.
